Things I Love: October 2020

Gratitude for the littlest, itty-bitty things in my life is absolutely a game changer. When life feels heavy and dark, I am definitely guilty of overlooking all the small but powerful things that make my life worth living. I try to check in each month about the things that brought delight to my heart.

Here are the rays of sunshine for October:

Pumpkin desserts. It's fall here and the perfect time to hunker down, bake, and eat all of fall's best flavors.

Ugh, Schitt's Creek. The shining star sitcom that got all of us through the pandemic. I needed it's positive light this minute. And boy, did I ever dive back in.

Asja Boros is an artist whose work always speaks to me. BEAUTIFUL.

Mercury is back in Retrograde. It's the time of "re-s." Revising, re-do, reclaim. It's also a time, for me, when I notice I long to re-read old favorite books. I'm diving right back into the Winternight Trilogy by Katherine Arden. I've talked about this series on the blog before and it's seriously one of my favorites. Info on the first book, The Bear and the Nightingale, here.

What are some things that are keeping you going right now?
